Spinach Fettucchini: 

For 12 to 24 months old children

Ingredients:

2 tbsp margarine

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp plain flour

1 cup water

2 1/2 scoops of milk powder

1 cube chicken stock

250 g packet pureed spinach, thawed

1/4 tsp ground pepper

200 g fettucchini

 

Preparation:

Cook fettucchini in boiling water until tender.

Mix the milk powder in the water.

Melt the margarine in a saucepan.

Cook the onion in the saucepan with the melted margarine over a gentle heat until transparent.

Add the flour, stir and cook for 2 minutes without browning.

Add the milk and stir through until thickened.

Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil.

Add to the fettucchini and serve.
