From 9 to 12 Months:

Around this time, your little one can be introduced to even more variety of food. The good news is tea, honey & nuts are now on the menu. Cow’s milk and cordial drinks are still no no’s. The food can now get chunkier. In fact children at this age frame are encouraged to get introduced to “finger food” and that is for two reasons, firstly, when your child picks up a chunk of food and puts it in her mouth it enhances her ability to be more independent and practice on feeding herself, secondly, finger food when provided alongside the meal, can be a fantastic way to get your child to sit longer in the chair and not loose interest in the main meal.
